Theoretical and inorganic chemistry
Let's talk about the main approaches to solving calculation problems in inorganic chemistry. Let's look at the Olympiad minimum of high-quality knowledge about the properties of inorganic compounds. Let's look at the main approaches and strategies for solving inorganic chains
- Solving problems to derive formulas of substances. Calculations based on quantitative relationships of gaseous substances and their mixtures.
- Brief overview of the properties of hydrides, oxides, halides. Hydroxides.
- Redox reactions. Properties of transition metal compounds.
- Solving tasks on chains of transformations in organic chemistry.
Organic chemistry
Let's talk about the main approaches to solving calculation problems in organic chemistry. Let's look at the main approaches and strategies for solving organic chains.
- Homological series. Determination of formulas of organic compounds. Qualitative reactions.
- Chemical properties of classes of organic compounds and genetic relationships between them.
The course will be of interest to those who want to succeed in Chemistry Olympiads. In class we will look at the main sections of chemistry: general, physical, organic and inorganic. Each section will be accompanied by both the necessary theoretical material and a large number of Olympiad-level tasks for practice. During the course, we will learn to solve complex problems from listed Olympiads, create unique algorithms for solving problems, and also develop chemical insight. The course is designed to systematize the necessary knowledge, prepare for successful writing competitions and show the beauty of chemistry!
