The SKOLKOVO School of Management was created in 2006 by Russian entrepreneurs - founders of large companies, philanthropists, representing the main sectors of the Russian economy.

From 1998 to 2018, Dmitry worked in management positions in large Western and federal Russian companies: Johnson & Johnson, ConocoPhillips, Rostelecom, RUSAL and others. Dmitry participated in the formation of regional development strategies for companies, development and implementation of basic processes and operating models, staffing and managing project teams, searching and developing teams top management. In addition, Dmitry’s area of responsibility included tasks related to organizing interaction between NPOs and corporate social responsibility, ensuring corporate partnerships with NPOs, implementing the CSR strategy within the framework of the strategic interests of companies in EMEA and CIS.
Dmitry received his basic education as an engineer-economist at the Kazakh Institute of Chemical Technology and studied management and marketing at the University of Kentucky (USA).

In 2017, Ruben Vardanyan implemented the “Revival of Tatev” project, which was based on the idea of reconstruction Tatev monastery complex, its preservation and further maintenance in accordance with world standards standards. The project also included the revival of life and scientific traditions in the monastery. In addition to the cultural significance of strengthening ties between Armenia and Artsakh, this project attracted a flow of tourists, which became an additional source of income for the local population.
