This course provides professional development hours (PD hours) for further certification from IIBA.
The training focuses on the tasks performed by business analysts during requirements analysis and solution development, namely:
- description and modeling of requirements;
- verification and validation of requirements;
- structuring and organizing requirements;
- identifying solution options that meet business needs;
- assessment of the potential value that each solution option can provide.
During the training, a number of universal techniques will be examined in detail, the conditions for their use, strengths and weaknesses will be determined, and key aspects of this area of ​​​​knowledge will be discussed.
Participants will practice the following techniques:
- User stories;
- Acceptance criteria;
- Data modeling;
- Brainstorming;
- Mind maps (mental maps, Mind mapping).
The course is based on the BABOK Guide version 3.0 developed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). The course materials cover one of the BABOK knowledge areas – “Requirements Analysis and Design Definition”.
