How to easily export your contacts from the web version of iCloud

Losing contacts in the Apple ecosystem is quite difficult, because they are duplicated on all of your devices and even in the cloud. However, there are situations where you want to transfer contacts to another device, export the address book or contact manager on another computer or even another platform. It is very easy to do using the web version of iCloud.

The transfer process is extremely simple and consists of only a few steps:

1. Open the browser iCloud.com and enter in your account.
   
2. Run the "Contacts" by clicking on the appropriate icon.
   
3. Select any contact from the list, and then press the key combination ⌘A to select all contacts.
   
4. Click Settings icon in the lower left corner and select the item export vCard…
5. All your contacts come together in one file, which will remain in the "Downloads".
6. In OS X that a file will automatically open in the application "Contacts" for export. If any of the exported contacts will have duplicates in your address book, the system will warn you and offer to let them or merge with existing ones.

Since the contacts are exported in a standard format for the VCF, then it can be used for import into other applications on other computers and platforms.
