IndieWire names the 25 best films of 2023

Foreign portal IndieWire made up traditional list of the best films of the outgoing year. It included 25 films in which “characters and creators transcended their lived experiences, captivated us with the unknown, or took us a little further into the future—or into ourselves.”

The best film of the year, according to the site, was the melodrama “Past Lives.” In the center of its plot is a Korean girl, Yong Na, and her schoolmate Hae Sun, who after many years begin to communicate on social networks, and then meet in the USA.

Also in the publication’s top three are the French drama “Recipe for Love” by Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung and “Asteroid City» Wes Anderson. «Barbie" And "Oppenheimer"is also on the list, but far from being in the first positions.

If you hadn’t slipped into a banal attack on the personalities of other commentators (which is rudeness in in its purest form, people have exactly the same right to their opinion as you do) - your post would be where more convincing. And yes, imagine - every person is “structured a little differently” than you, me, or any other instance of a person. It's called diversity. :) And by the way, everyone also determines the “essence of the fairy tale” for themselves, and it is different for everyone.
