The program gives a general idea of paleontological finds in Moscow and the Moscow region. During the classes, organisms that inhabited this territory in the distant past will be shown and characterized.

Admission Requirements
Students in grades 1-7. There are no entrance tests.
Where do paleontologists look for their treasures?
In the first lesson, students will learn where to look for fossils and what places in the Moscow region are known for their paleontological finds.
What do paleontologists find?
In the second lesson we will talk about the formation and preservation of paleontological remains; students will learn what kind of fossils paleontologists find and study.
Muscovites of the Carboniferous period
In the third lesson we will talk about the Carboniferous sea in the Moscow region; Let's get acquainted with some of the inhabitants of this sea; Let's see who sea lilies are and why they are not flowers; Let's get acquainted with brachiopods, find out how they differ from bivalves and much, much more.
Moscow in the time of dinosaurs
In the fourth lesson we will talk about the Mesozoic seas in the Moscow region; listeners will get acquainted with some of the inhabitants of these seas and find out whether dinosaurs lived here.
Muscovites of the Ice Age
The final lesson will talk about the Ice Age and some of the inhabitants of the Moscow region at that time.
