Miscellaneous / / December 06, 2023
People come into contact with art every day. From birth and throughout their lives, people are immersed in art. Hotels, train stations, shops, costumes, jewelry, even hairstyles can be works of art. But they may not be. Not every painting, sculpture or palace is considered a masterpiece. How to distinguish a work of art from handicrafts?
There is no recipe for what needs to be combined and in what proportions to get a masterpiece. However, you can develop your ability to feel and appreciate beauty, which is commonly called taste. This course will answer key questions: What is art? Why does it have such magical power over a person? What secrets do famous masterpieces hide?
From the course you will learn that art reflects life. This is largely true: often the accuracy and recognition of what artists depict is amazing. But it is unlikely that a simple reflection of life, copying would arouse such strong interest in art and admiration for it!
