Ceramics. Basic course - rate 240,000 rub. from the British Higher School of Design, training 5 months, date December 2, 2023.
Miscellaneous / / December 06, 2023
Ceramics today are an integral element of the interiors of houses, hotels and restaurants. The demand for tableware and decorative items is growing both in the b2b sector and in retail, while the market still lacks quality studios and professional specialists.
Our program prepares ceramists who can create objects by hand, launch them for sale and supervise mass production. To do this, students study in practice technologies for working with different materials, modern design trends, and the basics of marketing and business. And all the acquired skills can be immediately applied in real projects.
Graduates will be able to create designer collections and work with any type of ceramics and porcelain. In addition, their skills will be enough to open their own workshop, launch a new brand, or make an existing one more effective.
Fundamentals of object design. The theoretical part will cover the history of design and trend watching. Students will understand how trends arise and how to work with them competently, and will be able to formulate the concept of their collection based on a clear author's style.
Ceramics as a business. Students will learn to navigate basic business processes: they will be able to create their own brand, manage production and find first customers, will understand promotion and tools sales
At the end - your own collection. During the course, students will work on their own ceramic products, immediately putting their new knowledge into practice. At the end of the program, everyone will create an original small-run collection of items, ready for launch into production.
