The purpose of the program advanced training “Modern technologies in personnel management” is to develop students’ knowledge about the latest approaches, tools and methods of personnel management in the organization. The program is aimed at meeting educational and professional needs, professional development of students, ensuring compliance of their qualifications with the changing conditions of professional activity, acquisition and development of key competencies in the field of management staff.
The content of the program “Modern technologies in personnel management” takes into account the features of the professional standard “Human Resources Management Specialist” and the qualification requirements specified in it for professional knowledge and skills necessary for the effective performance of official duties of specialists and managers.
As part of the program, students will learn about:
- the procedure for determining future and current staffing needs;
- mechanism and methods of strategic personnel management;
- sources of staffing for the organization;
- technologies and specific methods of searching, attracting, recruiting and selecting personnel;
- systems, methods and forms of material and non-material incentives for personnel;
- technologies and methods for determining professional knowledge, skills and competencies;
- technologies and methods for assessing personal qualities and characteristics;
- technologies, tools and methods of modern interactive and distance learning and personnel development;
- methods of personnel adaptation, algorithms for developing adaptation programs;
- models of modern business careers, features of the career management system in modern organizations;
- approaches and methods for forming a personnel reserve.
As a result of the training, students will learn:
- apply strategic personnel management methods;
- collect, analyze and structure information about the peculiarities of organizing work at various production areas and specific workplaces, taking into account goals, objectives, plans and structure organizations;
- formulate requirements for a vacant position (profession, specialty) and determine recruitment criteria; apply technologies and methods of searching, attracting, selecting and selecting candidates for vacant positions (professions, specialties) in accordance with their specifics;

- use search engines and information resources in the field of personnel provision, main products in the field of digitalization of personnel selection;

- organizing adaptation procedures for new employees in the organization.
Lectures and practical classes on the program are taught by professors and teachers of the Department of Personnel Management, Faculty of Public Administration, Moscow State University.
Based on the results of successful training and final certification, which is carried out in the form of a test, a certificate of advanced training in the standard format established at Moscow State University is issued.
