What will happen in the course for editors?

Let's learn how to work with authors. A good editor is idolized by all project participants. The boss hangs all the blame on the bad guy, and the authors quietly hate him. The first thing we will do in the course is to become good editors.

Let's practice creating an editorial policy. The better we do this job at the start of the project, the more often we thank ourselves for it. You definitely need to learn this.

We will check what we understand nothing about. Scientific facts, translations from a foreign language - all this needs to be checked. Where and how to do this if the topic is complex and we have never worked in it? Let's try fact-checking in action!

Let's get some express training on editing. Seeing logical and stylistic errors, separating useful information from fluff, structuring text is not a gift, but normal skills that can be mastered. This is what we will do.

Let's start applying knowledge here and now. At the end of each lesson there will be a short workshop. And at the last online lecture we will turn several boring texts with errors into the pride of the author and editor.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a copywriter or an editor: we will teach fact-checking technologies and tell you what it is in simple words.
