History of the course creation
Hello, I am Alexey Merkulov, the author of this course. The idea of creating this educational material originated with me back in 2013, but I could not decompose it due to the abundance specialties in which AutoCAD is used, because each direction has its own characteristics and subtleties, I thought then.
And at that time I reasoned like this: either write a course for each direction (architecture, structural engineering, engineering networks, mechanical engineering, or not do it at all. In the end, I abandoned this idea.
Years passed. We have released several successful courses on AutoCAD; the audience of our project has exceeded one hundred thousand specialists from various fields of activity. I received dozens of emails every day with feedback, questions and suggestions. And analyzing this feedback, I became more and more convinced that the main problems for everyone are the same, despite the diversity of professions and industries in which AutoCAD is used.
I think it’s good that back in 2013 I didn’t start recording this course. Because now, 5 years later, the course has turned out objectively better, because it was created based on the problems and questions that hundreds of specialists face every day. I can say with confidence that the course “Adaptation in AutoCAD to Enterprise Standards” is universal and will be useful to any organizations and specialists using AutoCAD
Best regards, Alexey Merkulov.
