Central Asia Program: main approaches to studying the region in the West and the “East-West” dichotomy intended for students with higher education: philosophers, historians, religious scholars, political scientists, sociologists. The course reflects current trends in world science in the field of history, historiography, philosophy, political science and sociology religion and is built taking into account world standards of teaching this discipline, adopted in leading Western universities.
The course is taught by Nurulla-Khojaeva Nargis Talatovna, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Central Asian and Caucasian Countries, ISAA Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
The distance course of 28 academic hours is designed for seven weeks. Classes are conducted in the form of weekly lectures. The practical aspect is implemented through seminars and completing assignments in the designated classes (12 hours). To receive a MSU Certificate of the course taken, you must successfully complete all test assignments.
