As defined by the International TA Association, Transactional Analysis “is a theory of personality and systematic psychotherapy for the purpose of developing and changing personality.” Proposed at one time by Eric Berne, it is becoming increasingly popular.
It is a basic step in preparation for obtaining the Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) degree, and provides the opportunity to continue training and join leading Transactional Analysis associations.
