The program gives an idea of rare plants and animals growing and living in the capital of Russia, about history of classification of different biological species, why and how it is necessary to preserve biodiversity in nature. The classes show the environmental aspect and various opportunities for participation in environmental protection.
Program period

Admission Requirements
Students in grades 1-7. There are no entrance tests.
Schedule: classes are held on Mondays at 17:00.
Class dates: 1st cycle of classes – January 16, 23, 30.
The cycle consists of 3 lessons.
The cost of three classes is 600 rubles.

Rare plants of the Russian capital: stages of biodiversity conservation
In the first lesson, students will become familiar with the concept of “rare plants”. The history of the development of the Red Book of plants and animals of the city of Moscow, the existing classification of biological objects in connection with the environmental problems of the capital, learn how they affect nature.
Primroses in the city
In the second lesson, students will learn about the life cycle of primroses and the different species that are found in the city, as well as the vulnerability of primroses and their role in nature.
Rare animals of Moscow
At the final lesson, students will learn about different types of rare animals living in the capital and get acquainted with interesting facts from their lives. Using game elements, we will look at which species are listed in the Moscow Red Book and why we need to protect nature.
