How does learning happen?
After concluding the agreement, the student receives access to the educational system of the website of the Center for Distance Education of Moscow State University, where educational materials are posted.
The entire course program is divided into modules, each of which covers one topic and must be studied over a certain period of time, after which the acquired knowledge is tested.
The module includes:
- lectures in electronic form in the form of files for reading on the screen or downloading to the student’s computer, as well as links to external network resources;
- self-administered screening tests and fixed-time control tests;
- assignments and tests;
- electronic seminars, forums and chats;
- list of recommended literature.
Control tests are completed within the time limits specified by the teacher and are automatically closed. Independent assignments are also completed by students within the specified time frame and sent to the teacher for review by email or posted on the website. Solutions for written tests are accepted for verification in electronic form in the form of text documents or in the form of scanned or photographed images.
The teacher assigns grades and compiles student ratings, which are published on the course website. Not only academic performance is recorded, but also course attendance. The results of all assignments are displayed in the student’s electronic diary.
