“Modernization and extension of the life cycle of electronic equipment, reverse engineering and functional diagnostics of analog and digital electronic circuits” - course RUB 30,360. from MSU, training 12 weeks. (3 months), Date: November 30, 2023.
Miscellaneous / / December 02, 2023
The goal of the program is to train qualified specialists capable of maintaining and modernizing existing radio-electronic modules in all areas of science and technology, especially in cases where design documentation is lost or inaccessible, it is difficult overestimate. Learn to work with the most modern equipment for functional diagnostics of electronic equipment, extending the life cycle of devices and reverse engineering.
General description of the laboratory
The laboratory contains 8 workstations. Including 6 standard workstations based on compact systems for the FaultFinder type, aimed at use in the educational process. Each workstation is equipped with a control computer and the FaultFinder system, which allows for diagnostics and localization of faults on printed circuit boards. These systems are used for training and performing routine manual fault detection and reverse engineering tasks.
One workstation is equipped with a fully functional professional PinPoint system, offering the whole range of methods for localization and troubleshooting, functional diagnostics and reverse engineering. The system can be used for the most complex studies of electronic circuits, including in conjunction with the AutoPoint automatic probe.
The laboratory contains one workstation for diagnosing boards in automatic mode based on the AutoPoint DT “flying probe” module, which allows you to completely relieve the operator from routine manual testing, transferring all this work to automatic robotic platform.
For centralized storage of test results and training in reliable and repeatable methods collaboration with diagnostic equipment, the laboratory is equipped with a results server testing.
We are able to perform functional diagnostics, find and troubleshoot vital electronic equipment, including military equipment, even if the design documentation is lost or not available. We carry out “reverse engineering”, that is, the creation of circuit diagrams and identification of components of “unknown” electronic modules for their research and creation of analogues. We can monitor purchased or existing electronic equipment for the absence of hardware “bookmarks” and compliance with circuit diagrams.
The laboratory has the most modern equipment; such equipment is already used at leading Russian enterprises defense sector, including OJSC "GZ PULSAR", OJSC "GTSSO PVO "Granit", OJSC "Concern "Morinformsystem-Agat", OJSC "Research Institute "Vector" and etc.
We conduct seminars and trainings in the field of “Modernization and extension of the life cycle of electronic equipment, reverse engineering and functional diagnostics of analog and digital electronic circuits”
