The curriculum includes consideration and discussion of philosophical problems of specific scientific disciplines (mathematics, physics, biology and humanities disciplines), philosophy and methodology of science of both the 20th and 21st centuries in the framework of lectures and seminars with the participation of program students and leading professors faculty. The classes will cover both the historical features of the development of science in general (ontological problems of the development of scientific knowledge, evolutionary epistemology), and the problems of particular disciplines (human nature in a biomedical perspective, problems of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the phenomenon of interdisciplinarity, social and humanitarian examination of innovative technologies and etc.).
The teachers are mainly employees of the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science of the Faculty of Philosophy - leading experts in the field of philosophy of science. The head of the program is a candidate of philosophical sciences, acting. Head of the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science, Associate Professor of the Department Taras Anatolyevich Varkhotov.
