The MBA - Art Management program is focused on training managers of modern art institutions and combines basic MBA disciplines with special courses for art business analysts and practitioners. The analytical part of the program is devoted to an in-depth study of management, marketing, law, and financial analytics. The practical part is implemented in the format of meetings and exchange of experience with recognized experts of the modern art market, round tables and master classes.
Well-known specialists in the gallery business, organizers of large-scale exhibition projects, heads of structural departments of museums provide master classes and trainings, seminars and workshops for students. The student develops competencies in the field of exhibition project management, legislation in the field of circulation and insurance of works of art, art banking, restoration and attribution. The main goal of the program is to give students the opportunity to communicate, collaborate and exchange experiences with art business experts. Students are given the opportunity to undergo internships at the Federal Academy for Cultural Education (Wolfenbuettel, Germany) and the Fashion Institute of Technology (New York).
The Center for Creative Industries was created in 2006 at Moscow University as part of the Innovation educational project as a structure that allows you to introduce the latest forms of business education in the field of fashion and art. Over the course of fifteen years, the Center for Creative Industries has trained more than a thousand specialists - now successful entrepreneurs, PR managers, designers, gallerists, curators of exhibition projects, brand managers, fashion journalists and stylists.
