WHAT IS THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PROGRAM?
Relevance
In today's turbulent world, stress levels are only increasing, exacerbating destructive food habits. patterns (addiction to sugar and sweets, night overeating, impulsive snacking, etc.) and their consequences for health. Therefore, a nutritionist needs psychological and coaching competencies - this way a specialist can work safely with each client, regardless of the level of his permanent stress. Otherwise, without elements of psychological support, working with clients is no longer effective.
Relationship with the client
Whether the nutritionist managed to build a relationship with the client determines whether the client will conscientiously follow all the recommendations, and therefore whether he will ultimately get the desired result. Without professional skills in communicating with clients, a nutritionist will not be able to bring clients to results.
Modification of family systems
A nutritionist works not just with a person’s nutrition, but with the entire system of food patterns and habits that has developed over several generations of his family. A specialist needs to understand how to correctly initiate changes in complex family systems.
Sustainable change
The task of a nutritionist is not for a person to follow a diet for a month, take a course of dietary supplements, lose a certain amount of kilograms and become afraid of pasta. The goal is for a person to fall in love with balanced nutrition and enjoy cooking vegetable stews instead of pasta, that is, not just move to a new level of food culture, but to a new level of thinking. Such serious long-term changes occur already in the deep layers of the personality, and this requires professional psychological competencies.
True goal setting
The result of the diet itself, expressed in kilograms and test results, is not an end in itself. A nutritionist needs to be able to identify the client’s true motivation and maintain it at a high level throughout the entire support process using psychological techniques and technologies.
Exclusivity
With the new stream of the Functional and Clinical Nutrition program, an original course on psychology, coaching and consulting has been introduced into the training structure.
Integrative psychology
Most psychologists work within the framework of one well-studied or favorite psychological paradigm, be it cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt or transactional analysis. UOM has an integrative approach to psychology: we combine tools from different psychological movements to help you achieve the best personal results with clients
Speaker line-up
The experience of UOM experts in correcting nutrition and psychological deviations has been counted for decades. Some speakers are patent holders for proprietary technologies for correcting nutrition and behavioral characteristics of clients (Irina Maltseva, Mikhail Gavrilov). Reputable psychologists, coaches and life trainers consider it an honor to collaborate with us, to act as authors (Dmitry Zanin), speakers and guest speakers (Lyudmila Petranovskaya) of our programs.
