As part of the preparatory courses, training in foreign languages is provided. Preparatory courses are designed for graduating students, as well as school graduates from previous years planning to enroll in their first higher education.
When you select a Foreign Language subject, you are automatically enrolled in an English language study group.
To apply to the German or French language study group, you must send a separate application to [email protected].
Groups will be opened if there are enough people interested.

Additional entrance test (ADT) of creative orientation (journalism) (120 hours. in year)

Russian language for applicants (120 hours. in year)
Foreign language
for applicants (English 120 hours, English 240 hours, French 120 hours, French 240 hours, German 120 hours, German 240 hours)4 MONTHS:

Literature for applicants (60 hours)
Russian language for applicants (60 hours)
Foreign language for applicants (basic - 60 hours, intensive - 120 hours)
Preparatory courses are designed for graduating students, as well as school graduates from previous years planning to enroll in a bachelor's degree (first higher education). Classes are taught by teachers from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.
Schedule
The class schedule depends on the subjects chosen: When choosing two, three or four subjects, classes take place two to three times a week.
Place of study
All classes are held at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University at the address: Moscow, st. Mokhovaya, d. 9.
In the 2021/2022 academic year, training takes place in a distance format.
Duration of training
8 months (October 1 – May 31), registration on the website at the end of August-September
4 months (February 1 – May 31), registration on the website at the end of December-January
Payment is made by semester:
1st semester: October – January
2nd semester: February – May
Applications are accepted for eight-month preparatory courses (October–May) from August 25 to September 25.
Accepting applications for four-month courses (February–May) from December 25 to January 25.
