Walter Isaacson, author of the best in the opinion of many biographies dedicated to the life of Steve Jobs, during a recent interview with the CEO Washington Post and a member of the Facebook board of directors Don Graham confirmed that Jobs really respected the Zuckerberg.
When in the course of the interview we were talking about the relationship Jobs and Zuckerberg in his later years, Isaacson noted separately that Steve I admired his intuitive flair regarding the needs and ways of development of the company, as well as the passion with which he was engaged in the business.
It was already known that Zuckerberg has adopted an aggressive management style just at Jobs. Mark also said that Jobs actually taught him how to make the company better. Graham, in turn, also confirmed that Jobs has played a huge role in teaching Mark.
Admiration Mark Steve is well known and is not in doubt, but the attitude of Steve to the Facebook founder, until recently, was not as obvious. During the interview, Isaacson asked Graham, mentioned ever Zuckerberg, Jobs, and received a reply.
"I once asked Jobs who of Silicon Valley makes it a delight. Pronounced first name was Mark. "
Isaacson said that Jobs' decision to terminate the project after Apple social network Ping failure was based partly on respect for Zuckerberg. In 2010, Steve invited Mark to dinner to discuss Ping and its possible integration with Facebook. When Jobs was asked about the causes of collapse of the project, he replied that, perhaps because Mark did it too well, and the need for a large number of social networking is not.
