Managing projects, people and yourself - course RUB 34,300. from Gorbunov's Bureau, training 3 weeks, date December 3, 2023.

Do ≠ do
Naive people believe that the plan is the path that the project will take. Unfortunately, experienced skeptics perpetuate the myth that the contract and technical specifications accurately describe the work to be done. It's inconvenient to talk to a client or boss about problems in advance.
In the real world, a project always faces difficulties: the design fails, the manager quits, the developer goes on vacation, the platform glitches, or the plugin doesn’t work. On the last day, the boss kills the project. Time is running out, the project is being extended, the team is being expanded. The website opens months later and costs several times more; the application comes out raw; the idea dies without ever becoming a product.
It seems that the quality and timing of the product launch are in an insoluble contradiction. If you want a good product, be prepared for missed deadlines, additional expenses and night work. If you want to meet deadlines and budgets and leave work on time, compromise on quality and conscience.
The FFF approach resolves this contradiction: it fixes the deadline and budget, and makes functionality flexible. The goal of the course is to teach how to implement uncompromising projects, launch them exactly on the planned day and manage personal time.
Distance course
The first week of the course is dedicated to projects. You will learn how the fixed deadline method works, learn how to forecast, plan, manage the progress of a project, and “flex.”
The second week is about people. Management technologies do not work if you do not establish relationships with designers, developers, managers, management, and clients. You will learn to “get things done,” delegate, and turn sluggish, stagnant performers into commando teams.
The third week is about you. Emergency work should not become a way of life. In this section you will learn about time management, growth and remote work.
The course will be useful to designers, managers, developers, entrepreneurs, everyone. Participants' prior knowledge is helpful but not required.
