Every leader must be able to competently manage subordinates. But any management begins with ourselves; if we do not know how to manage our attention, energy, emotions, reactions to various situations, then managing others becomes an illusion. The course is dedicated to tools for increasing personal competence. We will cover important topics:

Company strategy
Management in a turbulent environment
During the course, you will study management functions and master the tools used to improve the quality of a manager's functioning in modern conditions. During the training process, you will become familiar with the rules of goal setting and practice their use. You will learn the principles of competent control and see how they work. We will look at what types of decision-making there are, and in which cases it is better to use one or another type. We will study the stages of rational decision making and practice the use of techniques (Fishborn, GROW, SWOT analysis) used in the process of rational decision making. We will find out what types of corporate culture exist in our time, and how they influence the process of managing the organization as a whole.
Marketing and Sales
You will learn about the marketing functions in a company. You will master customer experience management tools, marketing research methods, market segmentation, and will be able to assess the volume of the market and its segments. We'll also dive into product marketing, learning how to develop a product value proposition and product strategies. Let's work on creating an innovative product. We will work through the marketing communications system: a purchase decision-making model, a communication message, positioning, and evaluation of the effectiveness of marketing communications.
People and teams
During the course we will look at why a team is needed, how a team differs from a work team, what stages you need to go through to create a team, how to select people for a team and are there ideal ones? teams.
Financial accounting and control
After studying the course, you will understand the financial statements of a company, be able to compare your company with its competitors, and therefore “keep your finger on the pulse.” Build a budgeting process in your company, learn to plan both production and financial activities. Learn to manage the company's working capital and minimize the amount of borrowed funds. You will be able to evaluate projects and choose those that suit the company “here and now.” You will develop a control system and be able to respond in a timely manner to changes in the internal and external environment.
Lean Operations Management
During the course, you will receive methods and tools for linking a company's strategy with the operational level of management. We will review continuous improvement concepts and methodologies (TQM, Lean, 6Sigma, TOC). Let’s touch on the process management section, which is important for all these methodologies, and look in detail at how build a production/service system in the company based on Lean principles (Toyota Production System).
Investment management
The main goal of the course is to study tools for assessing an investment project in order to practically make a strategic decision regarding the company's investment activities. You will learn how to generate project income and expenses, understand why cash flows depreciate over time and what discounting is. Which parameters are the most important regarding the acceptance of the project, and which criteria can be neglected. At the end of the course, based on a real investment project, you will be able to independently conduct a comprehensive assessment and make a decision regarding the implementation of the project in practice.
Project management
The program is developed on the basis of international project management standards PMI and ISO. You will receive the necessary knowledge and tools for project management not only for predictive, but also adaptive (Agile) projects. Master methods and tools for initiating and planning projects, managing stakeholders, scope, schedule, resources, costs and risks of projects. We will also touch on an equally important section on project manager leadership and team management.
Leadership
You will learn how leadership differs from management. Why modern management is impossible without leadership. Understand the sources and effects of leadership influence. You will develop practical tools that will help you develop leadership competencies.
Change management
Today, any company, regardless of its strategy, positioning and industry affiliation, is faced with changes in the external environment. The degree of success in navigating change depends on how effectively you manage internal change projects. The course will help you understand the context of change projects and learn the methodology for managing them effectively.
Digital business transformation
You will learn what the digital economy is. What opportunities exist today for creating business models. We will analyze in detail the “Marketplace” and “Uberization” models, their capabilities and consideration of consequences.
