The advanced training program “Preparation of scientific articles for international journals” is aimed at developing in students knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to convey scientific information in a form designed for a specific target audience.
Often the process of writing and designing an article for a foreign periodical differs significantly from Russian ones, therefore it is important to know the standard design principles, format and stylistic features of a scientific article prepared for an international magazine.
This program will be useful for undergraduates, graduate students, researchers and teachers who plan to prepare a scientific article for publication in a foreign journal.
During the course, students practice:
- principles of writing and preparing for publication of a scientific article;
- culture of writing in the academic sphere.
At the end of the program, students will be able to:
- construct written speech in English logically and stylistically correctly, clearly and with reasoning;
- use a scientific article to establish and develop interaction between a scientific organization and other representatives of the academic community.
Duration
Duration – 32 academic hours.
Upon completion of the program, a MSU Certificate of Advanced Training is issued.
