The program is designed for students wishing to receive an advanced education in fashion and textile design. standards of leading international fashion institutes, as well as create outstanding collections worthy of showing during the week fashion.
The program has been conducted at BHSAD since 2008 and its foundations are laid by many years of cooperation with the British creative education system.
The program develops in students a high visual culture, self-confidence and the desire to rethink and radically change the field of clothing and textile design in Russia. Students receive professional concept development skills; they will be able to work with traditional techniques and technologies, or experiment with cutting and finding new textile processing techniques.

Graduated from BHSAD BA (Hons) Fashion Design in 2017 with first class honors.
Participated and curated a number of fashion related exhibitions, such as: Raz/Archivatsia (2019), Design as Translation (2017), Shoe illusion (2016), The Black list exhibition (2016).
Worked on costume design for advertising for Megaphon, design and production of customized aprons for Persona Academy, developed a series of collections for several Moscow based brands (Nemo, Eiphorium, RigRazer).

Graphic designer and artist from Moscow.
She received a BA (Hons) from the University of Hertfordshire in 2017. She has experience in type design (Paratype released her typeface in 2018) as well in self-publishing (art-director of ‘season—x—why’ zine). She has been working in a state museum-reserve Tsaritsyno since 2017. Along with design practice, she focuses on art projects.

Professional biography:
Marina is a Graduate of the BA Fashion Program and started her career in fashion buying and marketing at Adidas Russia. She then later developed her career towards teaching and learning, becoming Year 1 leader and Tutor and a highly valued member of the academic team. Marina has been working directly with students supporting and teaching for 7 years resulting in innovative and exciting pattern cutting and 3D translation which have impacted on all year groups and evident at the annual BA Fashion Show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia.

You have the opportunity to try yourself in different areas of art and design and make your choice further trajectory during the first year of study, if you have not yet decided which direction you want closer.
In the 1st year of the bachelor's degree (Foundation Year), students experiment with form and material, work on various projects, develop critical thinking and learn to solve problems assigned to them Problems. Foundation Year develops the ability to work independently and teaches you to come to an idea, rather than start with it.

• Studying
This is the first phase of the educational process, the task of which is to involve the student in the specifics of creative activity. Several structured projects offered during this part of the course provide a meaningful appreciation of the theory and practice of contemporary design. Students develop basic research skills and also learn to work with contextual information.
• Consolidation
At this stage, students make a choice in the field of design and art in which they would like to develop in further higher education programs, and begin to become more deeply acquainted with the specifics of the chosen areas.
• Preparation of the final project
In parallel with specialized modules in art and design (where teaching is conducted only in English) - program 1 year includes disciplines taught primarily in Russian and necessary for the development of basic academic and social skills:
*Systemic and critical thinking;

*Physical Culture and sport;
*History of Russia, general history;
*English (The teaching of the discipline in this course lasts throughout the year and is based on advanced international methods, taking into account the lexicological specifics of the design field. Particular attention is paid to the development of spoken language and the ability to correctly express one’s thoughts.)
2nd year bachelor's degree
The purpose of the 2nd year bachelor's degree program (beginning of specialized training in the field of Fashion and Textile Design). Master the basic principles of design, cutting development skills using both traditional and experimental techniques, supporting development of both analytical and creative skills, to comprehend the creation of a project critically and theoretically through cultural research.

The program includes the preparation of joint projects with industry specialists, which will contribute to the development of professional connections.

The nature of the learning process becomes more independent. Students define their place, method and preferences in the design industry, modes of inquiry and authorial identity while working on ambitious and time-consuming independent art projects. During the final semester, a professional portfolio of international level is formed, a thesis (collection) is created and defended.
