Secrets of a successful presentation.
In the traditional sense, a presentation is a form of communication with an audience through visual perception. This convenient and effective way of providing information has found wide application in the marketing and PR sphere.
Computer presentations are one of the types of multimedia projects. They represent a specific sequence of slides or video sequence, the demonstration of which is controlled by the user. Today this is one of the most popular ways of presenting information, which is used in many areas of life. Presentations require careful preparation. When creating it, the following algorithm of actions is usually used:
1. Choosing a topic and formulating a goal. The goal should be realistic and expressed briefly and to the point, preferably in one sentence.
2. Collection and systematization of material. The material should be relevant, interesting and comprehensively answer the questions of the topic under consideration.
3. Concept development. The collected text and graphic material must be recorded on slides in accordance with the logic of presentation and achievement of the purpose of the presentation.
4. Design development. One of the most important stages, it determines how successful the performance as a whole will be. The design of the slides should not distract the audience, it should correspond to the structure of the story and emphasize its main essence. Unfortunately, sometimes during a presentation, good ideas can get lost in mediocre design. In our PowerPoint course, we pay special attention to teaching the art of design. Children will masterfully master and learn how to competently use various fonts, color schemes, interactive, animation and multimedia effects.
5. Layout of slides. All texts are brought to a single style, font and color in accordance with the developed design. The various elements of the slide are in tune with each other and the entire presentation as a whole, forming a complete harmonious composition.
6. Testing. When preparing for a presentation, you need to compare the text with the slides in demonstration mode to check all the elements of the presentation and the ease of working with it.
Popular presentation programs.
There are various applications, programs and services for demonstrating data and many types of presentations using text slides, videos, animation, music or voiceover, etc. At the first stage of our training, the children will get acquainted with the wonderful online service Canva.com, which allows anyone to solve design problems without special training or expensive software and equipment. “In life, you often have to solve problems in non-standard ways. From kindergarten on, we are taught to think “in a pattern.” It is very important to develop out-of-the-box thinking and creativity while building on a solid knowledge base. I always try to convey to the child not only knowledge of the subject, but also the ability to think outside the “standard”, I include design thinking techniques in teaching. It is very important to help a child believe in himself, discover his talents and realize his creative potential to the fullest.”
