St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" was founded in 1886 and was the first higher educational institution in Europe specialized in the field of electrical engineering.
Training of bachelors, masters and specialists is carried out at 7 faculties of full-time education. The Open Faculty prepares bachelors in full-time, part-time and part-time forms of study.

Currently, 9226 students, graduate students and trainees are studying at LETI. The university has 3 full members and 5 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 20 laureates of national and international awards, more than 220 professors and doctors of science. Every year, the university graduates about 2,000 specialists in its main educational programs.
The research and innovation complex of St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI", in addition to 350 educational and scientific laboratories of seven faculties, includes a Technopark, 8 scientific and educational centers, 3 resource centers, 5 research institutes, Youth Research Institute, 14 basic departments at specialized enterprises - strategic partners.
