Currently, the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) is at the peak of its development due to the application of unique AI technologies in many areas of human activity. The use of AI methods in a wide range of scientific research has become a common reality. Thanks to the development of new technologies, scientists from various fields of science have the opportunity to productively analyze large-volume data and effectively solve research problems, for which previously either a disproportionate amount of time and other resources would have been spent, or it was simply unreal. Our course will examine the main directions of AI as a promising branch of data science: methods intelligent analysis of big data, machine learning methods, methods of presentation and primary processing data. The basic terms, capabilities and limitations of the technologies considered will be explained, and the types will be analyzed. problems to be solved and examples of the use of AI methods in scientific research and other areas of human activities.
