What will you learn

Master editing tools (Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blackmagic Design: DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects)

• Master the basics of the profession from an assistant to a full-fledged editing director. Learn to work with any genres and forms: action scenes, feature and documentary films, trailers, commercials and commercials for social networks
• You will learn how to work with sound and do color correction and will be responsible for the visual style
• Gain experience working with producers, directors and screenwriters
• Successful students will be integrated into the film industry
• Study the laws of dramaturgy and develop a “director’s eye”
• Learn to tell meaningful stories using modern editing techniques in a way that captures the viewer's attention.
• You will work on a real film set and edit your full-length short film
• You will be able to cope with in-frame and camera editing of any complexity at the professional level

After the first semester of study, students are ready to work as assistant editing directors and work in real production.
