Domain-Driven Design (DDD) offers a general approach to providing greater flexibility and modifiability software systems based on a more thorough study of the subject area and reflection of its structure in the developed system. Course participants will learn how DDD helps in building enterprise systems with complex business logic and will use strategic patterns to decompose first the subject area and then the developed systems. For further design and implementation of the components identified as a result of decomposition, “bounded contexts” in DDD terminology, we use DDD tactical patterns, first of all Aggregates. Various architecture options are being considered, including multi-layer, hexagonal (hexagonal), service-oriented (SOA), event-driven (EDA), CQRS, Event Sourcing. The course materials are based on real examples of developed systems.
