A new interesting project has appeared on Kickstarter - the Cheerdots2 computer mouse, which is capable of recording audio, deciphering it into text and extracting the main information. The creators claim that their new product will replace a wireless mouse, touchpad, laser pointer and voice recorder.

To start recording, just press one button and go about your business. When the meeting or lecture is over, you can sync the data to your Windows computer or macOS to listen to the recording again, read a text transcription or a summary of the main thing from ChatGPT.

If you remove the top cover, the device can be used as a laser pointer in two modes - “spotlight” (illuminating a large area with darkening the background) or “indicator” (small colored circle). The mouse itself is wireless, charges via USB-C and lasts about 20 days without recharging.

The device is offered in two versions: Cheerdots2 Basic without recording function, which works like a mouse and pointer, and Cheerdots2 Advanced with recording and transcription support.
