Jason Bourne is back: Universal is going to make a new film with Matt Damon

The film can be shot with another actor. I already had this experience.
Universal Pictures is hoping to revive the Jason Bourne franchise and has already begun early development on a new film in the series. Matt Damon, who starred in four of the five films, will be the first to be offered the opportunity to return to the iconic role as soon as the script is completed. About it writes Deadline.
Negotiations about the director's chair are underway with Edward Berger, who directed "No change on the Western Front", that was nominated at the Oscars and won seven BAFTA awards, including Best Non-English Language Film and Best Director.
Jason Bourne, like the Fast and the Furious franchise, is a very important intellectual property for Universal that has generated huge box office revenue. Four of the five films in the series have high ratings from critics and viewers. The only one with mixed reviews is “The Bourne Evolution,” where Jeremy Renner (“Avengers,” “Arrival”) played the main role.
Other news from the world of cinema🧐
- The Walking Dead and Rumble star Steven Yeun will play the Sentry in the Marvel Universe
- Disney is developing Frozen 3. The fourth part is also in the plans
- A remake of “Seven Samurai” with digitized Soviet actors will be filmed in Russia

Okay, Guardians of the Galaxy. Absolutely everything is there... and the acting, and the staging of the scenes, and the underlying meanings, and the script, and the fantasy... It’s just that everything there is on a different level (let me explain, otherwise it seems the editors may not understand... at a higher level). I can name a bunch more films and TV series in the science fiction genre this year, which are at least no more passable than this one-shot film. Just the point? Even if there were no other science fiction film this year, singing the praises of such a passerby... this already speaks about the level of the evaluator (I won’t explain). PS. I look forward to comments that in SF you emphasized the word “scientific”. There is absolutely nothing scientific in this film, it is a banal, cliched, mediocre and idealess fiction of Dontsova’s level
"Creator" may be the biggest sci-fi film of the year
