Meenhong JX2 Pocket Mini PC with Touch Screen Introduced
Miscellaneous / / November 20, 2023
It looks like a thick smartphone, but inside is an Intel processor, a cooling system and even an Ethernet connector.
Chinese company Meenhong released JX2 is on sale - a pocket computer weighing only 300 g, which is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. You can connect up to two external 4K monitors to it, and the built-in display allows you to deal with urgent work on the go - if you find an outlet or take a power bank with you.
The performance is provided by the Intel Celeron N5105 processor (10 nm, clock frequency 2.9 GHz) with integrated Intel UHD graphics. A copper heat sink and a built-in cooler are responsible for cooling - the manufacturer notes that it is almost silent. RAM 8 GB (LPDDR4), there are two M.2 slots for SSD: the first supports NVMe and SATA, the second - only SATA. You can also add a second 8GB LPDDR4 stick.
The case has HDMI 2.0 connectors, gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5 mm audio jack, three USB-A ports and one USB-C with the ability to transfer data and connect a monitor. The second USB-C is used exclusively to power the computer. For wireless connectivity there is Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
To operate, it only needs a 30 W power supply (albeit 12 V, so regular smartphone charging is most likely not suitable). There is no built-in battery: it seems that the manufacturer chose compactness and lightness over autonomous operation. The case dimensions are 160 × 80 × 20 mm.
Meenhong JX2 is available in two variants. A model with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD was priced at $195, and a version with double the storage capacity was priced at $210. This is approximately 17,300 and 18,600 dollars at the exchange rate. The computer comes with Windows 11 Pro and also supports Ubuntu.

Thank you for the recipe, your gingerbread looks and tastes very interesting! I found on a Polish website a recipe for Lenten tomato gingerbread with bananas, it’s also unusual, it turns out very tasty, I also add a layer of cranberry jam to the finished product.

As an author, I am needed to look for quality products for Lifehacker readers) And this is a selection of products, and not an educational article for novice baristas. It just so happens that on the Russian market moka coffee makers are called exclusively geyser coffee makers. I think readers might have questions if the collection talked about moka coffee makers, and the links included the usual geyser ones.

Thanks for the recipe! I often bake buns with cinnamon, poppy seeds, and use real cinnamon sticks, which I chop first. Perhaps someone will find my recipe for cinnamon filling useful; the baked goods are aromatic, moist, and very tasty: 100 grams of sugar (you can use brown), 25 grams of cocoa powder (preferably alkalized), 50-60 grams of flour (you can replace some with chopped nuts), 1-1.5 Art. l. cinnamon, mix everything, add 100 grams of softened butter. Apply a thin layer to the dough and form into a bun.
