New seasons of The Last of Us, White Lotus and Euphoria will be released only in 2025

The production of many popular TV series was frozen during the strikes in Hollywood. And while the cast strike is still ongoing, today some streaming services unexpectedly shared long-term plans for their top shows.

• Season two premiere "Dragon Houses» will take place "early summer" 2024 on HBO Max. Today, at a closed presentation in New York, the press was even shown a trailer for the series. It has not yet been published on the Internet.
• Filming of the spin-off "Game of Thrones"based on a collection of stories by George R. R. Martin's "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" is scheduled to begin production this spring. The TV adaptation will be called The Tale of Dunk and Egg.
• Premiere of the third season of “White Lotus” moved for 2025 (it was supposed to be released in 2024). The sequel will again feature a new cast. But the return of Tanya played by Jennifer Coolidge is not excluded.
• Spin-off "It"titled "Welcome to Derry" will also be released only in 2025. The series is based on the novels by Sithwen King and expands on the story of the first two films. Produced by HBO Max and Warner Bros.

• The second half of the fifth season of "Yellowstone" will show in November 2024. It will be the finale of the show. But in the future, fans will be able to watch two new spin-offs at once - “1944” and “2024” (working titles).
• Ellie and Joel from The Last of Uswill be back on screens only in 2025. An even later release cannot be ruled out. Filming for the second season is planned to begin in the first half of next year.
• The third part "Euphoria" Same planned for 2025. HBO Max also does not rule out postponing the release to a later date.
• "Futurama" extended for two more seasons. The new episodes will feature the entire cast from the original series. Ten new episodes will be shown in 2024. The premiere date for the rest has not yet been disclosed.
• The release of "Penguin" is about to happen postpone from spring to summer or autumn 2024. The series will have eight episodes. Let us remember that this is a spin-off of Matt Reeves’ “Batman”, which should connect the plot of the first film with the upcoming part.
• From the series "Escape" will spin-off. The events will take place in the world of the original, but without the participation of the main characters - it will be a story about other heroes. The show will be produced for Hulu.

It is worth noting that these are only preliminary plans of the filmmakers. Due to the ongoing actors' strike, they may change several times.
