John Wick director Chad Stahelski has completed the script for the film based on Ghost of Tsushima

John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski completed script for the film adaptation of the video game Ghost of Tsushima or “Ghost of Tsushima”. He wrote it for two years.
According to the filmmaker, the script is completely "ready to shoot" and the creative team is close to uniting to work on the film. Now everyone is just waiting for the end of the strikes in Hollywood.
Stahelski also added that at the moment he is interested in only two things: restart “Highlander” with Henry Cavill and the film adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima. He even called the latter one of his favorite works of all time.
Film adaptation are engaged Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions. It was previously reported that the film will be shot in Japanese and with Japanese actors. In all other respects, the director also wants to remain faithful to the setting of the game.
Ghost of Tsushima takes place in 1274 during the Mongol Empire's first invasion of Japan. The invaders managed to lay siege to the island of Tsushima, and the main character single-handedly confronts the enemy using ancient samurai techniques. The action adventure has sold over 6.5 million copies since its release in 2020.
