People are divided into owls and larks. Outstanding personalities can sleep 4 or 12 hours a day, and this does not affect their genius in any way. Getting enough sleep on the weekend to make up for your weekday sleep deprivation is a good idea.
Which of this is true and which is misconception, Roman Buzunov, a somnologist, clinical psychologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Honored Doctor of Russia, tells in the new issue. He heads the sleep medicine center at the rehabilitation clinic in Khamovniki, and is also a professor at the Department of Family Medicine and Therapy at the Central State Medical Academy.
