Miscellaneous / / October 31, 2023
The film will be directed by the director of "Ancharted".
Seven years after the release of Now Now 2, Lionsgate began development of a sequel. The second part turned out to be popular enough that the franchise was extended for a third film, but active work on the project still hasn’t begun—until now.
By data Screen Daily, Lionsgate will begin selling international rights to Now You See Me 2 this week. The director has changed again: the first film was directed by Louis Leterrier, the second by Jon Chu, and the third will be directed by Ruben Fleischer “Welcome to Zombieland,” “Uncharted: Not on the maps»).
Michael Lesslie (“The Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds”) is writing the script, and Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Morgan Freeman will return to star. Alex Kurtzman and Bobby Cohen remain producers.
The film's release date and plot details have not yet been announced.
