Boox Tab Ultra C Pro introduced - Android tablet with E-Ink color screen

Onyx introduced a new Android tablet Boox Tab Ultra C Pro - an improved version Tab Ultra C, which came out in the spring. This model runs on Android 12 and supports downloading applications from Google Play.

The tablet offers a "premium aluminum alloy" all-metal body and a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta 1200 screen with Kaleido 3 technology. The latter allows you to display 4096 shades of color. True, in color mode the picture will be worse: the resolution is 1240 × 930 pixels versus 2480 × 1860 pixels in black and white mode (density 150 and 300 ppi, respectively).

An unnamed 8-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.8 GHz is responsible for performance, complemented by 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 128 GB drive. For connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 are supported. Onyx promises a 13% increase in power and 5 times faster loading speeds compared to the Tab Ultra C.

Other features include a 16 MP camera with LED flash and text recognition mode, a micro SD slot, two speakers and microphones, and a fingerprint scanner in the power button.

The tablet supports magnetic accessories, including a keyboard case, which will make it more convenient to work with texts and tables. This keyboard is full-screen, with a fairly large trackpad underneath. There is also support for a stylus; it is included in the package (model Boox Pen2 Pro).

The 4,600 mAh battery is charged via USB-C. There is no 3.5 mm jack: you will have to rely on wireless headphones or choose between charging and headphones with USB-C.

Boox Tab Ultra C Pro was priced at $650 (≈60,600 rubles). The new product can already be ordered at manufacturer's website, the first buyers will receive a protective book case and a set of spare stylus tips as a gift.
