How to quickly peel an orange without getting your hands dirty
Miscellaneous / / October 26, 2023
You just need to repeat these movements.
If you needed a whole orange, you probably peeled it by hand. And this is not very convenient, especially if the peel does not yield well: your fingers become covered with juice and pulp, and the fruit itself may become uneven.
Thanks to this method orange will remain beautiful, and the skin will be removed in one motion in just seconds.
Using the edge of a knife, pierce the top of the fruit, near the base of the cutting. Make a cut in a circle, but do not go as far as where you inserted the knife at the beginning. Finally, rotate the blade so that it is horizontal.
Then cut through the entire peel in a spiral pattern all the way to the bottom, positioning the knife at a slight angle. Be careful not to touch the orange pulp.
Use your finger to hook the peel at the top and, continuing to run your finger under it, separate the entire skin in a spiral. Then remove it by simply pulling it up.
And if you need to take an orange to snack, peel it this way in advance and put it back in the peel. Tie with an elastic band. And then all you have to do is remove it from the skin - quickly, simply and cleanly.
