2GIS added three-dimensional interchanges, bridges and tunnels
Miscellaneous / / October 13, 2023
Detailed road junctions, bridges and tunnels in a three-dimensional perspective appeared in 2GIS. They can be found on maps of 12 cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Sochi, Samara, Saratov, Irkutsk and Vologda.
3D models are visible when you turn on the navigator in the mobile application - both offline, if a map has been downloaded, and online if there is an Internet connection. The function must first be enabled in the settings.
For now, this innovation is working in test mode on Android. On iOS, 3D models will appear on October 16th. In the future, developers will add actual width and lane markings.
We remind you that "2GIS" deleted from Google Play, but can be downloaded from alternative app stores or through website service with an apk file.
