Vegetables can be prepared in pieces, grated or pureed.
Frozen pumpkin can be stored until two months.
How to prepare pumpkin for freezing
To prepare for the winter, choose ripe and strong fruits without traces of rot and mold. Wash the pumpkin thoroughly under running water. Carefully remove dried soil or other contaminants on the peel with a damp cloth, sponge or soft brush.
Then dry the vegetable with a towel and cut in half or into quarters. If the fruit is large, it may require some effort.
Cut out the stem of the pumpkin.
Using your hands or a spoon, remove the seeds from each piece, but do not rush to throw them away. The seeds can be laid out on paper, dried and used in dishes or simply eaten.
