Borat's Sacha Baron Cohen Could Become Marvel's New Villain

Sacha Baron Cohen, known for the films "Borate", "Alice Through the Looking Glass" and "Trial of the Chicago Seven", will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This confirmed a copyright application filed by the studio that mentions the actor's name.

Cohen will play a “mystery man” in the series Ironheart, which will be dedicated to a young student Riri Williams. She designed armor similar to Iron Man's. Previously, Riri, played by Dominique Thorne, made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Obviously, the "mystery man" is just a "stub" to hide his true role. Earlier, rumors repeatedly appeared on the Internet that the actor could play the villain Mephisto, who would become the new owner of Stark Tower.

However, the authors of other Marvel series and Dominique herself denied the appearance of this character. However, even if Mephisto is not in the series, Cohen will definitely appear in it, and, most likely, he will play the villain. It's unlikely that Marvel would cast him in a less important role.

Ironheart will be released on Disney+ later next year or early 2025.
