The software update promised by Apple has already been released for both new devices and old ones.
Apple released iOS 17.0.3 update, designed to solve the overheating problem of the iPhone 15 Pro flagships, which some device owners have encountered.
The update notes say it "provides important bug fixes, security updates, and fixes an issue that may cause iPhones to get hotter than expected." The update was released not only for new products, but also for older iPhones and iPads.
Complaints about overheating began to arrive almost immediately after the start of sales. They even appeared on the Internet memes on this topic and comparisons of smartphones with a stove, to which owners of flagships on Android have long been accustomed.

In the Geekbench 5 benchmark, a smartphone after an update demonstrates approximately the same results as on the previous firmware - around 3,000 points in the single-core test and 7,200 in the multi-core test.
