Samsung introduced the “people's flagship” Galaxy S23 FE

Samsung is official presented its sub-flagship Galaxy S23 FE (FE - Fan Edition). The smartphone has an already recognizable design, IP68 water protection and a 6.4″ curve-free screen with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X matrix, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60–120 Hz.
The manufacturer did not name the chip, noting only that it was produced using a 4nm process technology. Most likely, this is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 - depending on the market. The amount of RAM was 8 GB, and the built-in memory was 128 GB or 256 GB. There is no expansion slot.
The main camera is 50 MP, wide-angle is 10 MP (123°), telephoto is 8 MP with 3x optical zoom. The selfie sensor in the display hole has a resolution of 10 MP.
Battery - 4,500 mAh with wired charging at 25 W (from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes). There is also wireless charging. In terms of communications: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.
The dimensions of the phone were 158 × 76.5 × 8.2 mm and weighed 209 grams. The body and some internal elements are made from recycled materials - aluminum, glass and plastic obtained from discarded fishing nets, barrels and PET bottles.
Galaxy S23 FE runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 shell. Samsung traditionally promises 4 major OS updates and 5 years of support with security patches.
The price of the device starts at $599. The start of sales in a number of countries is scheduled for October 5.
