The British online store Mobiles.co.uk studied the news about the line iPhone 15 and calculated which functions of new products were most often discussed by journalists and reviewers of new technology. As it turns out, it's the USB-C port that's causing the most excitement.

According to the retailer, in the month before the release of the new product and in the first week after the official presentation, about 150,000 articles were devoted to the connector. For comparison: about the cutout Dynamic Islandpresented in the line iPhone 14, approximately 7,200 articles were written during the same period.

Edition SamMobile writes, that although USB-C is not an innovation, its implementation in Apple products can be considered “the best thing to happen since sliced ​​bread.”

Apple has ditched the Lightning port due to a new EU law that requires all digital devices to have USB-C. Gadgets with other connectors will be prohibited from being sold in the association’s territory after 2024.
