How to make simple and animated stickers in iOS 17
Miscellaneous / / September 25, 2023
In case of important negotiations.
A year ago, in iOS 16, Apple introduced the function of quickly cutting out objects from photos, and now this allows you to create personalized stickers. Machine learning algorithms recognize the main object in the frame and turn it into a sticker. With a relatively contrasting background, this works great for both people and animals, as well as inanimate objects.
You can add a stroke to the finished stickers, as well as the “Comic”, “Volume” and “Glitter” effects, or leave the original cutout unchanged. Stickers with an outline look best.
If Live mode was turned on when taking a photo, then the stickers will be alive, that is, with a looping animation. True, this only works in “Messages” on iOS 17 or macOS Sonoma, in other cases the stickers will remain static. However, by inserting emoji through the keyboard, they can be used almost everywhere - in Telegram, WhatsApp, Mail and other applications.
There are two ways to create your own stickers in iOS 17: from the gallery or through a special menu in Messages.
