Nature TTL Photographer of the Year 2023 winners announced: 18 photos

Nature TTL has announced the winners of its Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

This year, more than 8,000 works from all over the world were sent to the competition. In addition to determining “Photographer of the Year” and “Young Photographer”, the jury selected the best photographs from them in eight categories: “Behavior Animals", "Camera Traps", "Landscape", "Small World", "Night Sky", "Underwater World", "Wildlife in the City" and "Portraits of Wild animals."

The Grand Prix

The main prize went to Thomas Vijayan from Canada - he showed the impact global warming on the seventh largest glacier in the world, Ostfon. The composition, consisting of 36 images stitched together, also took first place in the Landscape category.

Young photographer

The best young photographer was Lucy Monkton from Great Britain, who was not afraid of a swarm of bees and captured their migration.
