Miscellaneous / / September 20, 2023
In August Samsung started public beta testing of One UI 6 based on Android 14. The implementation began with the family Galaxy S23. Later, the recently introduced mid-range devices were added to the program - Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34.
Finally it's our turn arrived up to last year's flagships Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Users of these smartphones can now also test the new version of the software. The firmware received build number S90xNKSU3ZWIA and weighs 3 GB. However, for now it is only available in South Korea. The update should roll out to other regions in the near future.
One UI 6 based on Android 14 includes a redesigned UI and new features. Some of the most notable changes include an improved Quick Settings layout, improved animations, setting different lock screens, an expanded set of emoticons and multimedia playback on the panel notifications.
The release date for the stable version is still unknown. It is expected to be released at the end of this year or early next year. Previously appeared on the Internet list all Samsung smartphones that will receive it.
