Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve and Danny Boyle are also being considered for the role.
British director Matthew Vaughn may make a new film about James Bond. In the list of creators of the adjacent franchise series, he is listed as the “best candidate.” About it told Source: World of Reel.
According to an insider, the director has already discussed this issue with the producer of the new Bond film, Barbara Broccoli, who took control of almost the entire process. But the details of their meeting are unknown to him.
Vaughn is known for films such as Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class and the trilogy Kingsman. He also produced Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
World of Reel writes that in addition to him, the list of potential directors includes Denis Villeneuve, Danny Boyle and Christopher Nolan. The latter was the main candidate until recently, but he allegedly had disagreements with the producer. Director "Oppenheimer", as you know, likes to work with complete creative freedom, and this does not quite suit Brocolli.
