Netflix renews One Piece for a second season

Netflix announced on social networks about the renewal of the serial adaptation of the manga "One piece" for the second season. It was approved two weeks after the release of the first part of the show.

The author of the original manga, Eiichiro Oda, who took part in the creation of the show, addressed the audience via a “snail phone”, thanking fans for their interest in the project.

The timing of the start of production of the second season is limited by the strike of actors and screenwriters in the United States. Only when everyone comes to an agreement will the approximate plans for filming be clear. However, it is known that the continuation script has already ready.

The series “One Piece” received fairly high ratings from critics and viewers. Its rating on Rotten Tomatoes amounts to 85% and 95% respectively. And the average score among users IMDb — 8.5.
